How much Scent Killer® am I supposed to spray on my clothes?
When spraying you clothes with Scent Killer® Spray, you want to fully wet the surface of the clothing. Think of painting a surface. If you do not fully cover the surface, you can have gaps in coverage. We also recommend spraying your clothing days before the hunt, letting them fully dry, and storing them in an airtight storage container or bag so you can hunt in dry clothes.
What is the best place to set up a mock scrape?
In few words, the best place to set up a mock scrape is in a spot near other scrapes in the area or places where you have seen scrapes in the past. This can work really well sometimes. The Active-Scrape® in the dripper will help condition the bucks to come around your stand area during daytime hunting hours. The Trail's End® #307® or other attractant scents put out when you are sitting on stand will then put something special and unique into the air to peak the curiosity of deer in the area. Many hunters have had success with this technique.
Is it too early to use Special Golden Estrus®?
Many people believe you should not use an estrus type scent too long before the rut. However, in field testing we have seen Special Golden Estrus® and other estrus type scents be effective at attracting whitetail bucks well before the start of archery season and well after. In fact, one of our pro staff members mentioned a pope and young buck he got way before the rut using Special Golden Estrus®.

You can really start using them anytime early season or shortly before the season. Using the Ultimate Scrape-Dripper® is a great way to establish scrapes and check spots that deer visit. Also the Ultimate Scrape-Dripper® helps condition bucks to visit these spots during daytime hours when you would be hunting, increasing your chance at getting that big buck.
